An ART 130 project had us create a logo for a fictional company, store, restaurant, etc. I chose to make one for a fictional museum for my home of the Pacific Northwest. We were told to chose a "mascot" or basically a subject for our logo, and I chose the Douglas Fir. The stripe on the tree also points towards the northwest.
